We mapped merchant identity, hosting, payment processing, and shipping behaviour by jurisdiction, then delivered the findings as structured evidence for counsel to act on. The work supported the New York City Law Department and a coalition of 25 state attorneys general.

You work directly with the people building the system. No account layer and no ticket queue.
A paid discovery week ends with a written scope, fixed price, and prototype direction. If we are the wrong fit, you find out early and keep the document.
Weekly demos run against a staging environment you can open at any time. Scope changes are priced before they are built, not after.
Product builds ship with documentation and your repository. Monitoring systems move into an operating retainer and we continue to run them.
Who we are
Mercury Labs was founded by Mahmood Ahmed. Mercury Labs is independent and small on purpose. Every engagement is run by the people writing the code, so the person who answers your first email is the one who answers your last.
The work spans commerce, compliance, and operations because those are systems we have run ourselves, not only built for other people.
